This integrated coil packaging system combines dead block wire drawing machines with a coil wrapping unit, delivering a fully automated solution for wire coil processing. The line supports manual or automated feeding using AGVs, forklifts, or overhead cranes, and includes a customizable wire drawing feature tailored to your production capacity and process requirements.

Once the drawn wire reaches the preset weight, the system performs automatic cutting, strapping with PP or PET bands, and automatic transfer to the wrapping station. Coils are then wrapped through the eye using your choice of woven tape, PE film, or kraft paper, followed by automated weighing, label printing, and label application.

All label data is uploaded in real time to your ERP or MES system, enabling efficient data sharing, traceability, and production reporting. The complete process ensures consistency, speed, and reduced manual intervention.

Film breakage is a common issue and often caused by poor film quality, incorrect tension settings, or sharp edges in the film path. To prevent this, use high-quality stretch film, adjust the film tension based on the product size, and regularly inspect the film path to remove burrs or sharp points that could damage the material.

The wire drawing and packaging system uses a PLC programmable control system from Siemens or Mitsubishi, with an HMI interface. By entering the coil’s width, inner diameter, and outer diameter, the system can automatically adjust both the strapping length and the number of coil loops, ensuring precise and efficient operation.
